Ashira Davis NMLS 203695
Soon after graduating the University of Arizona in 2001 with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, I found my passion was assisting people with their financing needs. Since that time, I have been educating my customers on every aspect of mortgages. My experience includes originating, processing, underwriting, and closing home loans. I work diligently with my borrowers to ensure they find a program that’s right for their individual situation. The key to my success is to maintain constant communication with all parties involved in the transaction at all times, and to make sure no question goes unanswered. Whether working with a first-time buyer or a seasoned investor, I strive to make sure every experience is a smooth one.
As a result of in-house processing, underwriting and closing/funding, working for Sunstreet Mortgage allows me to close loans efficiently and in record time.
My love of learning and education has also prompted me to become an instructor in 2010 at Hogan School of Real Estate and to serve on the education committee at the Tucson Association of Realtors.
Thank you again for another easy closing. As part of “Our Team” Ashira makes the lending portion of the transaction go so smoothly! She is upfront and honest with our clients and her communication skills are by far the best of any lender we have dealt with in the past. The lending part of the transaction used to be a major problem in our deals but with Ashira handling the lending she is always ready to close early if we can! We will be closing another one next week, lets keep this train rolling!
Ashira Davis was knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly tenacious in getting us everything we needed during our closing process and loan application. Because of her work, we were able to move forward efficiently without missing any details (there are a LOT of details!) to secure the purchase of our dream home. She was up to date on all the best options for our loan, including timely grant opportunities that made our closing even more affordable. We feel so lucky to have had her on our team!
We would like to thank Ashira for her assistance in helping us in acquiring our loan. Without her and her team, we may not have been given the opportunity to own our home. We thank her for her dedication and perseverance and believing in us. She is AWESOME!!!!
I don’t even know where to begin. I appreciate everything Ashira did for me. From start to finish she was by my side. I know she has worked with hundreds and thousands of customers, but she truly made me feel that she was by my side working only for me. She made the process so painless. Thank you so much Ashira for making this dream come true for my family and I. I will refer everyone I know to Ashira. In fact, I already have. Many friends at work are interested in purchasing a home and of course Ashira’s name was mentioned. Ashira is so knowledgeable and exhausts every possible option to make it happen. I was terrified about the home buying process until I met Ashira. Ashira is truly one of a kind and anyone working with her will agree.
She is simply the best!
Good morning Mr. Sniezek and Mr. Capp,
I was referred to Ashira Davis by one of my co-workers to inquire about an FHA streamline refinance for my personal residence. I called this morning to ask for your contact information, because I feel that it’s important to convey what a gem you have representing your company.
I had the most pleasant, quick and seamless experience with Ashira. By the end of business on the day I initially called her with questions, Ashira had my questions answered, my credit app approved, my rate lock submitted, the list of required docs emailed to me, as well as my anticipated closing date. I appreciate doing business with those who provide quick answers and quick explanations and I’m grateful that Ashira recognized that. Every referral that I have sent to Ashira has come back to me with nothing but praise and thanks about her!!! She’s impressive.
I just wanted to express a heartfelt thanks to Ashira and your wonderful team for making my life easier. THAT is how every customer service interaction should be.
Dear Mr. Capp,
I would like to give you some feedback about Ms. Ashira Davis and the work that she did for us a couple of months ago.
We, the Crockers, are a super busy family; between school, work, and ministry we are always on the go. This past spring we were on the market looking for a house. We were referred to Ms. Davis by Lupita Rodriguez, our mortgage adviser at Primavera, a local non-profit. From the beginning Ms. Davis was most helpful and committed to helping us buy a home. She had to deal with stuff in our credit report from past mistakes we made, our realtor who wanted things done a little different (always in our best interest), and our lack of time to meet with her in person. To make things a bit more complicated, over the summer I had to attend school back East and my family was not available either to get things done in person. However, Ms.Davis worked tirelessly for us, got things done, and dealt with us over the phone, emails, fax, texting, etc. After we closed on the house we all, at home, felt we knew Ms. Davis and that she was a friend of the family. It was then that I realized that we had never met her in person.
Until today we know how she looks only because of the picture on the business card, we got from Lupita. Still, we feel we know her, and that if it wasn’t because of her we would still be renting. We have bought and sold houses in the past, but never have we felt or have we been treated with such professionalism and care like Ms. Davis’. In just a few words: you are lucky to have her!!!

Sunstreet Mortgage was professional and fast. We closed on our home in less than four weeks. We were very pleased with the service and particularly the thoroughness of the brokers involved in securing our mortgage.
The Mortgage News
Homeowners who refinanced through Freddie Mac in 2013 continued to display fiscal restraint, choosing fixed rate mortgages, keeping essentially the same mortgage balance, and in many cases opting for shorter-term loans to build equity more rapidly. In doing so homebuyers who refinanced during the year will save approximately $21 billion on net over the first 12 months of their new loans.
The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) called the fourth quarter of 2013 a particularly strong one for commercial and multifamily mortgage originations, with a total volume of around $280 billion in closed loans, the highest volume since 2007. Preliminary figures indicate that the volume for the entire year was up 15 percent from 2012 and increased 34 percent between the third and final quarter of 2013.
Now that prices have recovered to within striking distance of where many folks purchased their homes, potential sellers have found something new to worry about. Can their potential buyer get a mortgage?
